Forecast:
Over the next few days a major storm has been rolling in from the east, causing a pressure system to build up. Most dogs have been trying to avoid any sort of ruins or any place with trees too. Most of them are taking refuge in the Camelot Mall, or another study building to keep them from being lightning stricken. After the storm end everyone is looking forward to nice sunny days, hoping Mother Nature will offer them that.

After this week I will be on a lot more, so don't worry. Hope to hear from you guys real soon. =] I am leaving Slash and Anyu in charge.

Well, thanks to our good friend and member, joker [a.k.a Suicide from Shattered Alley], we have a brand new smexy skin. Whoo! Hope to see you there. Other than that we are going to put off the Scavenger Hunt until the Dog Olympics is halfway over. Summer is approaching and now all females are in heat. I decided to extend breeding season through the summer. So, if you are looking for puppies you better get to it. =] I like deciding the litters. :P Anyway, welcome all new members and guests. I hope you join or luffly community. Over and out.
Laws of the Land Everthing in this board will help you stay away from the wraith of our staff members. Just joking, but we will get upset if a member doesn't follow the rules. Anyway, in this board you will find the rules, names in use, the breed listings, and anything else you need to know before joining Pursuing Freedom.

Once you are completed a staff member will check over your biography. If it fills the requirements then it will be moved to the Accepted Creations board which is also located inside. If not, then the staff will reply to the same thread and explain why. That way you can fix it, so it can be accepted.

Then other members can reply wishing to take in your dog. All dogs that are captured by the dog catcher are placed here as well. You can only escape when another dog opens your door. Also inside is the Character Graveyard where you can place the dogs that have died playing in character.
Blessed Creek After your characters have bred you come here to fill out the form inside. Once the form is completed a staff member will decide who many puppies you get and their health status. Staff members will also supply a picture of what the puppy looks like. After that the parents decide the fate of the puppies.
Camelot Mall Hundreds of people would visit Camelot Mall daily. Now that the canines have taken over this mall is a hangout for a local pack. Merchandise are scattered around the three story high building. Televisions are hanging off the ledges of stairs. Stuffed animals are torn to shreds and their parts can be found throughout the mall. The only store that is completely untouched is the pet store. The pack that lives here likes to keep the place tidy, so food can be distrubted properly.
Old Airport A large airport station is located to the north of the town. Before the marble wall was made people would wander around the station rushing to their planes or buying a beer. Since no one uses this airport anymore trash is scattered among the floor and cobwebs have formed in the dusty corners of the walls. Plants that were watered daily have died from the beating sun. Outside is a large pavement ramp that the planes would take off of. Along the ramp is over grown weeds and not to far off is a small pond. Over in the nearby shed is the remains of a plane. The canines took over the plane, so they can terrioze the humans forever.
County Prison The County Prison was shut down over twenty years ago due to a gas leak. This prison was a maxium security prison is was homed to more than one thousand prisoners. On each side of the buliding there are five hundred cell blocks. In the middle of the buidling is the cafeteria and the security offices. In the cell blocks are bunk beds, and sinks. All the rooms are made of cement and the doors to the cell blocks are all open. The town has fixed the problem of the gas leak and made the County Prison a histroic landmark. The mayor used the building so residents can tour and find out more about the prison and the city.
The Back Alleys Concrete grounds that crumble around the edges line the earth's surface between many businesses and homes. Their edges crooked and dirty, grime and dust fluff up around your feet as you trod over the area. Garbage cans lean against the support of the walls, filled with scraps of half-eaten food that the humans refuse to digest. All of the dogs are quite content with a free meal, before business owners force them to scram.
Abdandoned School Parents forbid their children to go to school and on top of it there are no more teachers. The wooden doors remain open letting any animal simply walk through. Marble tiles are neatly patterned on the ground. The school looks as if it is untouched. Only dust covers the floor of the Abandoned School. There is only one lever with fifteen classrooms. Teachers taught from grades six through eight, which is classified as middle school. All the classrooms are the same. There are about twenty or so desks with pencils placed at the top. Posters are taped up all over the walls and gifts to the teacher are on the oak desks.
Longside Apartments At Longside Apartments you can always find a dog or maybe even ten. These apartments were built only two years ago, but they only finished half of the building. The part they did finish was a grand total number of twenty-five rooms. They all included a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room. Each are connected by a long hallway that goes leads to the main entrance. In the back of the buliding is a large, six foot deep, swimming pool.
Empty Museum A building sacred amongst humanity, often visited by people in its days. But ever since canines grasped dominance, its original purpose was rendered useless. Having been the temple of many ancient artefacts, varying in value, some objects still remain, although much has been stolen by the lowly remains of mankind. Marble pillars rage into the high ceiling. Dark corridors wind though the ancient architectural structure, frightful places to be in, if you are faint at heart. Not a smart idea, if you wish to wander in these mortifying walls.
Underground Passage Thick walls of pure brick cloud over the deep passageways below the city. Their genuine function is a mysterious subject, but most assume they were once used as bunkers, sewage tunnels, maybe even subways. Very little light touches the wretched channels, and it doesn’t reach far. Not only are these corridors gloomy to move about, but are similarly built to a labyrinth. Since eyesight is strongly reduced, one must rely on their other senses. Being very cold, the passages don’t even serve as proper shelter, but more like a lair for the more wicked type of dog.

The Outskirts
Castle Ruins What once was a majestic castle is now a sorry excuse for a fortress. The courtyard is overgrown with wild plants, amongst them even beautiful flowers. Many atriums escort the main stronghold, which holds many, many rooms. At first sight maybe not impressive, a closer look will take your breath. Little remains of ancient worlds, however the medieval times are still mighty when one enters the once-been royal chambers. But this stunning aspect could be overtaken by the leftovers of the torture chamber and dungeon. In general, the castle is a location often desired for a jaw-dropping view of the city or a fun adventure.
Freeland Park Cobblestone streets and green grasses still reign in this nearly deserted area. Intricately carved benches provide a seat and shelter to few, though many just pass them by. Neglected hedges reach out from their neatly trimmed edges and trees droop in the sun's heat to provide a tad bit of shade for the many without a place to call home. Weeds grow in the stone's cracks and scrape at the paws pads with forgotten trash that nobody bothers to dispose of. Many dogs come here to relax, though a lot come here to hide from whatever chased them there. This place is full of nooks and cranny's so you should watch your back if you have to tread through this light-less park a night.
Scale Canyon This is the Scale Canyon, a ledge so steep not a single dog in history has climbed down the steep trail leading to the trickle of water below. The only ones who dare climb it are the farmers cow's, and now many of them make it back to the top if you know what I mean. The rocks are a bege copper color, and a lot of dust fly off of their surfaces when you take a step to peer cautiously down to wards the bottom. It brings fear... A lot of fear.

Deserted Railroad Station The railroad station was used to transport humans from one place to another. Sadly, this station was shut down because of the increasing rat population. Many of the trains still weight outside and the rails are rusting away. On the right side of the tracks is a large, wooden buliding where many of the dogs live. They are usually found in the basement underneath the buliding or behind it.
Harbour Warehouse Large, empty, useless. The prefect words to describe this depot. Old boxes decorate the hollowness of the hall, their contents already ripped from them, now only vacant containers that could protect from disastrous weather conditions, as well as provide an asylum for pups. The walls are tall, the metal ‘ceiling’, if you could call it one, is large and so is the space within the warehouse. An excellent gathering point, as well as a hide-out and sanctuary. Sometimes dogs visit the deserted building to warm up from a cold bath in the nearby water.
